This delightful, spacious cottage is located in the village of Pooley Bridge in Cumbria and can sleep ten people in five bedrooms. Over two floors. Five bedrooms: 1 x double room with ensuite shower, basin and WC, 1 x double room with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x twin with TV , 2 x twin with basin. Bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, basin and WC. Bathroom with bath, hand-held shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Utility. Sitting room with log fire, TV, DVD. Garage/games room.

Pooley Bridge is only 1 mile away with a traditional village inn, cafe and shops. The surrounding area is home to numerous quaint Lakeland villages scattered along the shores of Lake Ullswater and Aira Force is a dramatic waterfall cascading into the lake below. Sharrow Bay Hotel is only a short drive away for the ultimate in dining and is renowned the world over or a trip over Kirkstone Pass brings you into Ambleside where there is an abundance of shops, pubs and restaurants. The historic market town of Penrith is within 5 miles and has numerous shops, a heated indoor swimming pool, golf course and driving range.

"My family of 9 stayed here in the Parklands cottage and thoroughly enjoyed both the quality accommodation and the stunning views over lake Ullswater. There are plenty of things to do on site but you are also able to enjoy the peace and quiet and sheer beauty of the lake district. This is a most excellent part of the lakes to be in with everything close at hand. Would heartily recommend"
"Perfect for a group. Did check level access for one elderly member and I was assured it was easy .. it wasn't and would worry about steps with small children but the sleeping arrangements and communal rooms worked very well for us. Lovely to sit 10 round the table. Although in middle of holiday park felt very private, layout makes it feel quite isolated."
"We stayed in Parklands with 4 young children, 2 grand Parents & 4 adults. Ther is plenty of room and we didn't once feel on top of each other. There was a secure gate at the top of the spiral stair case which could be locked, so we could allow the little ones to roam freely without fear of them falling down. The cottage was lovely and warm and the wood burner added to the comfort. The staff onsite are very welcoming and they have got two great childrens play area's. We would go there again in a flash."

"Not too long back from our first holiday to Ullswater in the lake district with the family. Superb holiday home choice and would definetely book again. Plenty of room for the 10 people who stayed. Park had all the facitlities we needed and the site was a great place for base camp to enable us to explore the surrounding area."
