"Set in the quiet, pretty village of Heptonstall, this us an excellent base for country walks and rambles locally and further afield. We enjoyed visits to Hardcastle Crags and the small but vibrant town of Hebden Bridge with uts quirky shops restaurants and cafes. Heptonstall has excellent views of and access to the surrounding countryside and a very welcoming pub with good food and a choice of beers. You can also find the resting place of Sylvia Plath here !! Returnng after our excursions was a treat. Warm and cosy, beautifully furnished and decorated, Cobble Cottage with its roaring fire was very welcome indeed. Will definitely return."
