Sorry, no smoking. Shop 7 miles and pub 3 miles.

Builth Wells offers a challenging 18 hole golf course, a sports centre, and the Wyeside Arts Centre, which includes a cinema as well as many live shows. Across the River Wye lies the Royal Welsh Showground, home to the famous Royal Welsh Show, along with many other events taking place throughout the year. With the spa town of Llandrindod Wells just 8 miles away, and the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park nearby, this is an ideal touring base.

"We had an amazing stay at this lovely house. So well equipped and comfortable, lovely and clean and immaculately presented. Great outside space with swing, slide and football for the children and stunning views all around for the grown ups! Walking is fantastic, straight from the door. The house was great for our dogs. "This was the best cottage we've ever stayed in. Pure luxury and comfort in everything you see and touch. It looks even better in real life than on the pictures. Great location. Very well equipped, and super clean, looked almost brand new. Friendly owners. Plenty of space for a group of 8 people to sleep, eat and play board games There was also plenty of space for our dog to run around safely (although he could easily jump over the fence a few times; this was OK since there were no lambs around during our stay). I'm glad the cottage had a TV that we used to watch the World Cup. I liked that the cottage was located far from any neighbours so we didn't disturb anyone and nobody disturbed us. Overall I would rate this cottage 10 out of 10. We all had an amazing time both adults and kids and even our dog. I really look forward to coming back there."
