Meadowbank is a stone cottage resting one mile from the villlage of Downham in Lancashire. It has three bedrooms, made up of two double rooms and a twin room with an en-suite toilet, there is also a family shower room, the property can sleep six people. Also inside there is a kitchen/diner and a sitting room. To the outside there is plenty of off road parking as well as a rear enclosed garden with a lawn and a patio area with furniture. Meadowbank is a homely cottage sat in a wonderful location for exploring the outdoors. The North West of England has something for every discerning traveller. Whether it is the fabulous sandy beaches of its famous seaside resorts or the historic backdrop of some of the country's oldest cities, it has something for everyone.

Set by Pendle Hill, Downham is within the Forest of Bowland AONB. It's a charming base with a gastropub, a tea room, an ice cream shop and a village green. Nearby, Clitheroe has a number of attractions including the castle and museum, Bowland Brewery and galleries. It is also worth visiting The Grand with a selection of music and cinema nights. There are four walks that will show the town and surrounding area, Clitheroe Golf Club is ideal for any enthusiasts. With breath-taking countryside on your doorstep, this is a wonderful location for a break.
