Permit parking nearby, permit provided. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1 mins and pub 2 mins walk. Note: Property entrance is shared with one other apartment.

Bowness-on-Windermere is a bustling and popular tourist destination, on the banks of world famous Lake Windermere, and close to Windermere town. There are a number of shops, restaurants and pubs in the town, which makes a great base for reaching all the local attractions, including the Lakeside Aquarium, Beatrix Potter's house at Sawrey, or the plentiful walking, cycling and sailing opportunities on Lakes Winderemere and Coniston, and through Grizedale Forest Park and the Lakeland mountains.

"Lovely little gem tucked up in a central area. Was 4 of us and unfortunately one of the toilets was broken, ( we really needed the two toilets), but very apologetic and came to check if we were all ok etc. was a shame as this is the only negative really .. very clean (ktichen is very compact and has no freezer so no good if staying more than a weekend) but i would definitely book again especially for a couple x"
