On-site facilities, shop and bar/restaurant 3 mins walk, WIFI is available in the park pub/restaurant, open April-Oct. Alternative shop and pub 2.5 miles

St Ives offers narrow streets and cottages around the quayside, the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth museum, beaches, shops, community of artists, pubs and restaurants. With its semi-Bohemian lifestyle and romantic air, it's easy to see why this is the county's best holiday resort. The surrounding area has much for the visitor to see and do with wildlife, walks, surfing and Land's End Peninsula are all within easy reach.

"This is the 3rd year staying in one of Tinas properties,but the first time in mermaids rest and we were not disappointed.As always the chalet was immaculately clean with well stocked kitchen cuboards and everything you could possibly need.The little touches as always show how much Tina is passionate about her properties and guests,down to the mermaids leg warmer,to the cups and mermaids bed covers,Tina really has thought of everything and the dogs loved the underfloor heating.The squirells enjoyed the nuts that were left for us and lovely to watch them on a morning.Mermaids rest is in a lovely peacefull setting,with lovely walks and a stunning beach a 5 minute drive away and st ives a short drive away. I would give this property 5 stars and it's a credit to Tina that we keep returning and we are already booked for Christmas this year."
