Mullion is on the Lizard Peninsula, near to Helston and Lizard Point, the most southerly tip of Britain. The village is home to a selection of restaurants, shops and pubs, as well as the Mullion Meadows Chocolate Factory and coffee shop, as well as Mullion Cove, a working harbour. Helston, a market town, hosts the Flora Day Festival and the Helston Folk Museum. Nearby is Poldark Mine, telling the mining heritage of the area. Further afield is the town of Falmouth to the east and Land's End to the west.
