Resting in a lovely location with walking opportunities nearby, Ty Du is a memorable cottage in a wonderful part of Wales. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Oil central heating with woodburner. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer, TV with Freeview, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking. Enclosed garden to front and rear with furniture and BBQ. Bike storage available. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk. Reflexology available by arrangement Note: Four steps down to the bathroom inside the cottage, and garden also has steps.

Llangernyw is a Welsh village with a local village shop, Post Office and a village pub which offers quality dining, real ales, games room and is dog-friendly. There is also a coastal cycle path which runs along the Abergele seafront. For walking and outdoor enthusiasts Betws-y-Coed known as the "Gateway to Snowdonia lies nearby. The Victorian town of Llandudno is also a short car drive away.

"We stayed here in October, two adults and our cocker spaniel. The house was immaculate and the owner had thought of everything. It was a lovely touch how he had left us a jar of dogtreats too ! The wood burner was perfect for the cold winter nights and it was great to snuggle up in front of it in the evening with a glass of wine and one of the selection of dvd's. The house is set in it's own grounds and with a garden that attracted all aspects of wildlife, from squirrels to a vast array of birds. Loads to see nearby, we were out all day, everyday visiting gorgeous little places. We visited Llechwedd slate mines, which was great and very informative.. Portmadog.. Criccieth .. Abergele.. Conwy .. Llandudno and Beaumaris to name but a few. Lots of supermarkets within a 10 mile radius, to stock up on food and wine. But if you don't fancy cooking, there is a fabulous dog friendly pub within a 5 minutes walk from the house and the food is fantastic ! Thank you for a great holiday !"
