Overview
This holiday cottage is tucked away in the Dartmoor National Park and sleeps up to four people in two bedrooms. Ground Floor: Open Plan Lounge/ Kitchen/Diner. Rustic conservatory (unheated). Mezzanine Floor: Bedroom 1 with twin beds, washbasin and en-suite WC. First Floor: Bedroom 2 with king-size bed. Bathroom with bath, hand shower, WC and washbasin.
On the south-eastern slopes of Dartmoor is the pretty village of Holne, with its 13th century church and Community Shop & Tearoom. On the edge of Holne, is Forestoke Linhay, a detached, barn conversion on a small working farm. With open moorland just outside the farm gates the location is perfect for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. The cottage is simply furnished and full of character with exposed stone walls and wooden beams. The small and cosy lounge/kitchen/dining area is warmed by a wood burning stove. Adjoining the living area, there is a rustic conservatory where doors open onto an enclosed, terraced patio garden. From the twin bedroom, doors open onto a small patio and the double bedroom has extensive views towards the south coast, taking in Hembury and Holne Woods. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Gravelled and paved terraced patio areas, furniture and BBQ. Regret no pets. No smoking. Shop 1/4 mile where WiFi is available. Note: This property does not accept any children under the age of 12.
