"This was our fourth stay at this lovely, traditional welsh cottage. We come back every year because we are guaranteed fantastic accommodation which is clean, comfortable and everything you could possibly need provided for. This year, we took the option to have bed linen and towels, everything provided was of excellent quality and led to some great night sleeps! We were lucky enough to have a great week of warm weather and sunshine and only left the village a handful of times. The beach is great for kids and the sea beautifully, crystal clear - it was like being in the Mediterranean! There is also some beautiful walks close by. Trefor village is quiet but with little distractions you can really switch off and relax. I would highly recommend."

"This was our third visit to Llety cottage and it just keeps getting better! This lovely cottage is very clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped. We had yet another wonderful week in this friendly, quiet village. Trefor may be off the usual tourist trail but I would definitely recommend it as a good base to explore this area further. The new shop is a very welcomed addition to the village and stocks everything you could possibly need. I would highly recommend for a great value holiday."

"This was our second stay at Llety. We returned because it really is a home from home and we knew we would have a much needed relaxing holiday. The owner is a lovely lady who goes to great lengths to make sure your stay is a happy and comfortable one. Her attention to detail is amazing - everything you could possibly want is there. It is very peaceful - we slept very well! Trefor is perfectly situated to explore the beautiful Llyn Peninsular and Snowdonia. The village has its own nice little beach and there is a glorious, National Trust owned, clifftop walk accessible on foot from the cottage, which is amazing in all weathers (as we discovered this time!!) We would definitely consider a short winter break at the cottage to recharge our batteries - the coal and wood burning stove would make for very cosy evenings. The village store had just re-opened under new management whilst we were there and sells pretty much all you would need."

"This was a great way to take a week out of the summer holidays, with this quirky cottage providing all that one needs to have an outstanding experience in Wales. This was the first time my brother, sister and I visited where my mother grew up. There's a handy "Arrival Booklet" which we really appreciated as it showed us what the neighbouring villages around Gwynedd had to offer, with all their traditional pubs, coffee shops and tourist attractions. Personally I'd recommend getting a pint at the Ty Coch Inn (Porthdinllaen), which is a bit of a drive but the view alone more than makes up for it. Also the cottage's close proximity to Mt. Snowden is basically an invitation to try and conquer it (it's worth it once you reach the top!) and despite doing so much during each day of our stay, it was so nice having a cosy cottage like this to return to at the end of the day."

"This was our second stay at Llety cottage and again, it didn't disappoint in terms of value for money. The cottage is clean, comfortable and very well equipped with every detail thought out. In terms of value for money it compares very favourably to others in the village. We had friends who stayed in other holiday cottages very close by (we were part of a large group) who were very disappointed in their cottages, they paid almost double the price for a weeks stay and their cottages were poorly equipped compared to Llety. I would highly recommend Llety if you are looking for an inexpensive but quality cottage in the Llyn region."

"We stayed in this lovely cottage for a week. The cottage has recently been updated and is very well equipped. It's an ideal location for some of the most beautiful beaches, mountain scenery and many visitor attractions in North Wales. We had a fantastic week and enjoyed many coastal walks with our two dogs. The cottage has a lovely enclosed front garden where we enjoyed relaxing in the sunshine. The cottage is very homely and cozy. We will book this cottage again, it's a great place to stay in North Wales."

"Llety is a charming little two bedroom ex-quarryman's cottage in the village of Trefor, on the north coast of the Ll?n Peninsula, well situated for visitors to the Snowdonia area. The cottage itself is extremely comfortable, with good kitchen facilities and the bonus of a real fire, although the electric heaters are more than adequate. I couldn't recommend the owner's friendliness more highly - she went the extra mile in answering our questions and making sure our stay went well. All in all, highly recommended."

"We found this accomodation on the Internet and were pleasantly surprised to find it available on the right dates for our continuing walk along the Coast Path. The Owner, Brian, welcomed us into the delightful cottage -we were a bit damp! But soon dried off in the warmth of the multi fuel stove. a beautiful cottage that was spotless, delightfully furnished and convenient for both the Llyn, Anglesey and Snowdonia. We will be back."

"A great little cottage. Tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Loved the walk along the sea. Not suitable for wheelchairs etc but brilliant for us."

"What a lucky find this cottage was whilst browsing online. From our approach through the windy leading to Trefor I found the place breathtakingly beautiful. The cottage was perfect for our needs. Mr and Mrs with 2 11 year olds and 2 dogs the cottage was comfortably sized with every amenity you could think of. Even down yto tablets for the dishwasher and windbreaker girl the beach. The pictures on the site do not do it justice and they make the cottage look a little small in my opinion, but it has plenty of room and the layout is great. The only very small problem I found was sitting in the garden was difficult with the dogs as they had an easy escape tout into next doors patio and out onto the front path. Traffic wasn't a problem as there was very little, however trying to chase an inquisitive 12 month old puppy around the village was quite a challenge. The bedrooms were lovely and comfortable and everything was exceptionally clean. We even sampled the wood burner on the chilly evenings which was very cosy. WIFI and free view made entertaining ourselves after dark easy.. There was a tiny shop in the village for essentials but bigger shops and supermarkets were within easy access. Trefor is a beautiful coastal town with a small population of friendly people. Ideal location for local sights and amenities. A couple of places we visited were bounce below Wales, beddgelert and tree top Dventures. All great fun for the kids and kept us occupied on rainy days. It was a lovely walk from the cottage down to the harbour. There isn't anything to do there but take in the fantastic scenery, sea air and maybe fish . Coastal walks to the next villages along were envigorating and fun and the dogs Nd boys enjoyed rambling over the vast landscape. The owner of the property was extremely helpful when we booked and send a well researched booklet of lots of places to visit around the area and lot of instructions on how to use everything in the cottage, info on bin collection and parking. There was no parking directly next to the cottage which was a little difficult on arrival and departure but the recommended car park was 2 minutes walk around the corner. All in all it was a fantastic holiday make so by the fantastic cottage, ideal location and beautifully maintained. Will definitely be booking agin and highly recommend it"

"This is our first visit to the Llyn Peninsular and certainly won't be the last. This cottage is warm and inviting whilst being cosy and extremely thoughtfully equipped (even found an assortment of boxes for picnics !). Although the weather was not great Trefor only seems to be 10 minutes for everywhere we wanted to go and even climbed Snowdon whilst there! Certainly will be back !"

"I have just spent a lovely week in this cottage with my 2 young children. We had friends staying in neighbouring cottages so this was perfect for us. The cottage is cosy, comfortable and the owner has put in a lot of thought into what equipment is needed for a week or longer stay. If you're staying with young children there is a stair gate and travel cot suitable for a baby. It is an open stair case which my two year managed fine but I did feel the need (as with any small child on a stair case) to watch him carefully. The cottage has an excellent wifi connection (which made me very popular with friends!). There is a smart tv so a boundless supply of Peppa pig on youtube to keep the little ones entertained when needed! The neighbours are all very friendly and the parking in the alley between the two rows of terraces was never an issue. If it is a worry to you there is plenty of parking at the end of the road. Trefor is lovely quiet village. It is not a typical tourist village, there is only one shop for essentials, however it has charm in bucket loads. The locals are very friendly and helpful, a place where people wave and exchange pleasantries as they pass by. We spent most of our days on the village beach as it was just so convenient. A 10/15 minute walk from the cottage or a short drive (car park next to the beach). Its a brilliant beach for young children, great sand for sandcastles, a few rock pools, fantastic crabbing/fishing from the pier, public toilets. The highlight one day was seeing a pod of dolphins from the beach. The scenery around Trefor is stunning, there's some amazing walks to do. From the cottage there is a bucolic view of the mountains with sheep grazing in the fields. There is so many lovely places to visit in the local area to mention. Llanbedrog is a personal favourite of mine for its beach, walks and art gallery. For young children on rainy days I would recommend Rabbit Farm nr. Criccieth. The public swimming pool at Pwhelli is great, clean, cheap, with a good water slide and splash pool. There is also Glasfryn parc just a 10 minute drive from Trefor which has an indoor soft play, ten pin bowling amongst other things. Overall, I would highly recommend this cottage and the local area."
