Roadside parking available nearby. Rear courtyard with table and chairs. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops 1 min walk, pub 2 mins walk. Note: The cottage does have some low doorways.

Pateley Bridge, voted Great Britain's Best Village High Street in 2016, is a town in the valley of the River Nidd. Alleys and yards off the main street housing offering shops places to eat and drink, two butchers, a fishmongers, a bakery and the oldest sweet shop in England. Pateley Bridge is known for its floral displays, whilst the nearby leisure centre has a swimming pool and the riverside park with children's play area is not to be missed. Also worth a visit is the Craft Workshops and the Nidderdale Museum - a lively collection of displays illustrating all aspects of Dales life in the past. Up and downstream, the Nidd Valley offers excellent opportunities for walking, cycling and birdwatching.
