A detached cottage located near the village of Lindale in the Lake District, it can sleep ten people in five bedrooms. Over three floors. Five bedrooms: 1 x first floor king-size double with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 2 x lower ground floor doubles with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 2 x lower ground floor twins. Lower ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Ground floor basin and WC. Ground floor kitchen with dining area. Ground floor utility. Ground floor sitting room with a woodburning stove. First floor games room with table football and pool table.
Rockwood is a detached cottage located near the village of Lindale in the Lake District. It has five bedrooms including a king size and two doubles, all with en-suites, as well as two twin rooms, there is also a family bathroom and a cloakroom, the cottage can sleep ten people. Also on the inside you will find a kitchen diner, a utility, a sitting room with a woodburning stove and a games room. To the outside there is off road parking for five cars, a gravel area with a table and chairs and a rear lawn. Rockwood is an excellent cottage in a beautiful location. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Oil central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, WIFI, selection of books. Fuel and power in rent. Fuel for woodburner can be purchased locally. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Off road parking for 5 cars. Front gravelled area with furniture, rear lawn. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 4 miles. Note: No stag/hen or similar. Note: Check-in 4pm. Rockwood is in a very quiet rural location due to this we would ask that guests respect the neighbors and keep the noise to a minimum after 10.30pm.

The village of Lindale is in the Lake District National Park, a few miles from Grange-over-Sands. Sitting on the slopes of Hampsfield Fell, Grange has a true lakeland feel with narrow streets, stone dwellings, two pubs and a golf course. Cartmel, with its sticky toffee pudding, famous horse race meetings, a 12th century priory, and gourmet restaurants is a 10 minute drive away from Grange. Arnside is also worth a visit. Just a short drive away is Lake Windermere and the villages of Bowness-on-Windermere, and Hawkshead - which still retain the charm and character that has endeared them to so many. The area is perfect for walking and cycling for people of all abilities, with Sustrans cycleways and Grizedale Mountain Bike trails nearby. Take a stroll along the promenade at Grange-over-Sands or explore the fells. Amidst the charm of the southern lakes, this village makes an inspiring choice from which to enjoy the whole of a magical area.
