To the outside is off-road parking for one car, and communal lawned grounds with lakes, picnic areas and barbecues. There are also communal leisure facilities inc. free use of heated indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Optional charge for other facilities including gym, scuba diving lessons, fishing and bike hire. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot available. Off road parking. Communal leisure facilities inc. free use of heated indoor swimmimg pool, sauna, steam room and gym. Optional charge for other facilities in. beauty treatments. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Pub, pharmacy and restaurant 5 mins walk. Beach 10 mins walk. Note: Babes-in-arms only. Note: Check-in is 2pm. Please Note: From the 4th November - 16th December 2019, the swimming pool will be out of use due to refurbishment however, there is an alternative pool available for use on a different site, Tuesday-Friday. Note: Between the dates of 4th November to 16th December the leisure centre will be under renovation with no access to the pool, sauna and steam room. The gymnasium will still be accessible. However, there will be access to the Flower of May campsite swimming pool Monday to Friday. Access is complimentary with the Bay leisure pass.

The seaside town of Filey offers a good old fashioned English seaside holiday. It features Filey Bay, which is a lovely, long sandy beach and Filey Brigg to the north with shallow rock pools. There are interesting shops, a coble landing, two promenades, pony rides and children's play areas, while within easy driving distance are Scarborough and Bridlington. Nearby, Flamborough Head boasts high walks and Bempton Cliffs.
