Ewyas Harold is in the Golden Valley, close to the Welsh Border. It has two pubs, a shop, a Post Office and a fish and chip shop. Nearby, Abbey Dore is on the River Dore and is home to Abbey Dore Court Gardens along with the 12th century Cistercian abbey. 13 miles away is Hereford, home to a cathedral, the famous library, Mappa Mundi and a bridge over the winding River Wye. Ewyas Harold is also close to Offa's Dyke and Wye Valley Walk, Brecon Beacon National Park and Black Mountains. An ideal base for exploring the area.
