Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 4 cars. Surrounding lawn and patio with table and chairs. Sorry, no smoking. Two well-behaved pets allowed. Shop and pub 10 mins walk. Note: Children need to be supervised near the river. Note: There are fishing rights on the River Ericht as part of the owner's property, fishing supplies may be purchased from a local shop. Note: No pets allowed upstairs

Situated on the banks of the River Ericht, in the spectacular gorges of Strathmore, is the red stone town of Blairgowrie. An excellent base for exploring Perthshire, this lovely little settlement is packed with shops and restaurants, and offers excellent access to the beautiful Angus Glens. Surrounded by pretty rolling fields, the town is also bordered by rugged hills and mountains, which are home to Scotland's largest ski centre, Glenshee. With excellent facilities for riding, cycling and walking, the region also caters for golfers, with several renowned courses and those of nearby St. Andrews. The area also plays host to the world's largest hedge at Meikleour which stands at six hundred metres long and thirty metres high.
