Two bedrooms: 1 x super king size double (zip/link, can be twin on request) with an en-suite bath, shower over, basin and WC, 1 x twin (zip/link, can be super king-size double on request) with en-suite shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. External shared drying room.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair and travel cot available on request. Ample off road parking. Bike storage. Front patio with furniture. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops, cafes and pubs 1.25 miles. Note: There is a small stream in the area, pets and children to be supervised. Note: This property has a private water supply which is regularly tested.

Allendale provides access to Carlisle to the west, Hexham to east or the Roman Wall to the north. There are walks and villages in the North Pennines AONB, which is an ideal location for exploring the surrounding countryside or travelling further north to the glorious Heritage Coastline.

We even did the star gazing at Kiedler which was amazing. Barry and Elaine are amazing hosts and attentive, ensuring our stay was comfortable (including home made scones on arrival)"
"First time I have ever been welcomed by the owner bearing scones! A tea tray was set out ready with milk, jam and butter in the fridge and with flowers on the table and the heating on it was a lovely welcome. The farm and cottage was set in a stunning location with plenty of wildlife. The cottage itself was very roomy and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Everything you needed was there including walking books and information on the area. Plenty of places to visit in the area and Allendale itself is a lovely little town with a co-op for self catering and we were able to take our dog in both the pubs we tried for an evening meal. We will definitely go again."
