The pretty Northumberland village of Powburn is situated in the foothills of the Cheviots. The village has a shop and a wide range of amenities in the nearby market town of Alnwick. It makes an ideal base for exploring the Northumberland National Park, the castle gardens and The Treehouse Restaurant. The spectacular coastline, and towns of Wooler and Rothbury, as well as the well known National Trust country house and gardens are all within easy reach.
