This large, semi-detached cottage is situated in the village of Tideswell in the Peak District and can sleep eight people in four bedrooms. Five bedrooms: 1 x super king-size double (zip/link, can be twin on request), 1 x ground floor king-size double, 1 x king-size double, 1 x twin, 1 x single. Ground floor shower room step up in to shower, basin and WC. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area (seats 6). Sitting room with multi-fuel stove and dining area. (seats 8).
The Cottage is a large, semi-detached cottage located in the village of Tideswell in the Peak District. The cottage can sleep eight people in five bedrooms - one ground floor king-size double, two doubles, one twin and a single. There is a ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC and a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. The living accommodation comprises a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with dining area and a multi-fuel stove. Outside there is roadside parking available, on a first come, first served basis. With the amenities of Tideswell on the doorstep and the Spa town of Buxton 9 miles away, The Cottage makes a great base for a year-round break. The ultimate in "year-round" appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, 43 inch Smart TV with Freeview in lounge and TV with Freeview upstairs, DVD, iPod/iPad dock with USB port, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for multi-fuel stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot, highchair and stairgate available. Roadside parking, or in the old market place in front of the cottage available, on first come, first served basis. Small courtyard with furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop next door, shops and pubs 5 mins walk.

Tideswell is a village in the heart of the Peak District National Park, famous for its church dedicated to St John the Baptist, known as 'The Cathedral of the Peak'. It is also home to good pubs and restaurants. Great walking is available for all abilities nearby with rugged northern peaks and gentle hills and dales in the south. Within easy reach are Mam Tor, Castleton and the Spa town of Buxton.

"This cottage is right in the center of Tideswell, in the square by the church, footsteps to local shops, cafes and the Co-op! Accommodation is spacious and well supplied with everything you will need for your stay, including useful items like tinfoil, freezer bags, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, laundry liquid, shower gel.... Very small yard with no garden as such but this didn't detract from our stay"
