This village sits on the fringes of the Suffolk Coast & Heaths AONB, 10 miles from the south coast. Referred to as 'Old Martlesham', it provides you with a Post Office Store, two pubs and a fish and chip shop. The village is also home to Martlesham Creek, popular for sailing as it flows into the River Deben and down to the south coast. Felixstowe is 10 miles away, it boasts a range of amenities along with a beach with an amusement arcade. Slightly closer is Suffolk's county town, Ipswich, it proves itself to be a great day out with its shopping centre, cinema and series of parks.
