Crackington Vean is in the pretty village of Crackington Haven and just a mile from the sea. The property boasts four bedrooms the master bedroom has ocean views, super-king size bed, private terrace and woodburner worth fighting over! There is also a family bathroom plus another super-king size bedroom with en suite and a family bathroom. The kitchen is large and well equipped and the dining room has a wood burning stove, the sitting room is cosy and has the benefit of yet another wood burner The garden is lawned and has furniture plus a BBQ and there is off road parking for two cars. Crackington Vean is a lovely property for a large family to enjoy or just with friends. Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.

Underfloor central heating. Wood burning stoves in sitting room, dining room and master bedroom. Electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, American style fridge/freezer, tumble dryer. WiFi, DVD player, iPod dock. Stairgate, cot and highchair available. Barbecue. Fuel and power inc in rent. Bed linen and towels inc in rent. The garden has decked area, lawn and paved patio. Two well behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Off road parking for 3 cars. The sea and pub are less than 1 mile away. Fabulous Farm Shop and Cafe 5 miles away.

"We stayed here in September. House is beautiful with lovely quite secure grounds, in the distance you can see the sea, at night you can clearly hear the waves. Great accommodation, self contained area downstairs with direct access upstairs via lots of quirky doors. My only complaints are: Most of the crockery is cracked.... which is disgusting. the BBQ was filthy, rusty and unusable. We love to BBQ! This was previously mentioned in visitors book but nothing done about it. The interior does need a freshen up but we had dogs so we were happy with it. In previous rental homes if we stayed 2 weeks it would be cleaned halfway with towels /tea towels replaced but not here. There is laundry facilities however. Take towels, one towel each is not enough. The locals are wonderfully friendly, walking is fantastic and of course hilly."
"Lovely cottage,owned by lovely people. Couldn't be more helpful. I took my 2 boarder collies they loved it. We drove to Widemouth bay daily as Crackington beach is not dog friendly. Handy having post office 2 mins away for all your needs. We only small bedroom not for tall people. Only thing was a minus was no umbrella in garden so we brought one. So problem solved. Tea coffee and toilet roll supplied . We booked to go back next June. Lovely holiday couldn't wish for more."
"Stayed for 6 nights in early November. Nice and secluded with lots of space and facilities. Beach just down the road and a few nice pubs and restaurants within striking distance. Good quality place and I recommend it."
