Character cottage in tranquil setting in the peaceful hamlet of Bissoe. Open fire. En-suite shower room. WiFi. Lovely garden. Off road parking. Falmouth 6 miles. Four bedrooms: 1 x king-size double with en-suite shower room, basin and WC (in separate annex all on ground floor). Main house over two floors, 1 x double, 1 x twin, 1 x single 4' bed. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Shower room with basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area and sofa. Mezzanine floor above Kitchen with TV. Sitting room with TV and open fire. Utility room.
Little Chycoose is a handsome traditional cottage in tranquil setting in the peaceful hamlet of Bissoe. The ambience is far removed from the crowded coastal resorts however the location is close enough to premier visitor attractions and 6 miles equidistant to Truro, Cornwall's vibrant capital, and Falmouth, a maritime town with an amazing coastline and stunning beaches. On the first floor there are three attractive bedrooms accommodating five people plus a large shower room and bathroom. There is also a separate annex with 5' bed and en-suite within the grounds, accommodating two extra people. On the ground floor is a contemporary kitchen with a mezzanine floor and fabulous bi-fold doors taking you into the garden. There are two cosy sitting rooms with comfy sofas both have TV's, one also has an open fire and there is central heating throughout to ensure it is comfortable for breaks during all seasons. The large garden is a mixture of lawn, shrubs and trees with a summer house which holds a table tennis table and football table. Little Chycoose is a lovely base for exploring all parts of Cornwall. There are a host of opportunities being under 10 miles from the beautiful beaches and dramatic cliffs of the north coast and the meandering creeks and tidal moorings of the Roseland Peninsula. Bissoe Cycle Hire and Loe Beach Watersports Centre are all located within a 10 minute drive and it is also an excellent destination for walkers and naturalists with scenic footpaths along the nearby creeks and inlets of the Truro and Falmouth rivers, the beautiful National Trust owned woodland park at Trelissick and the sub-tropical gardens at Glendurgan and Trebah, and there is also Cornwall's spectacular global garden,The Eden Project which is always worth a visit. With lots to see and do you are guaranteed a memorable and fun-filled break for families and friends. Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.

Truro is the retail centre of Cornwall with a good range of independent shops as well as national stores all within a compact city centre. With its eclectic range of art galleries, bars, restaurants, cinema, theatre, museum and outstanding cathedral this small city is a superb year round destination. Steeped in history and intriguing architecture there is always plenty to do and see. Just meandering through the Georgian cobbled streets is a pleasure in itself.

"Such a lovely find on MySykes. The owner (Mark) could not do enough for us to ensure that our stay was a memorable one. Little Chycoose is located in a lovely rural area outside of Truro, however close enough to get to where you want to go in Cornwall. The property is a mix of old and new and done very well indeed. Their is a sufficient amount of parking space and a large garden area C/W summerhouse. At the heart of the property is the kitchen area which is amazing. Bi-folding doors, an island and a raised mezzanine floor are just done of the lovely features of this room. The property is very spacious, so you can easily escape the noise of children playing to read a book or relax in front of a fire with a glass of something. The living accommodation consists of 3 bedrooms upstairs and another situated separate to the house in what is called the Cow Shed. All were very comfortable, clean and tidy. Little extra touches such as the fresh cream, jam and scones on arrival were lovely. The owner had also provided multi socket leads in each of the bedrooms which came in very handy. Overall our stay was amazing and I would definitely recommend a stay to my other family and friends. "
"We had a really fun time in this house for a family holiday - even in the winter it was light and warm. Very happy to recommend it to dog owners who like a good selection of walks. Also friendly bike hire shop and cafe in local village."
