The cottage also holds a fitted kitchen with dining area, and a sitting room hosting an open fire. To the outside, is off-road parking for four cars, and a lawned garden to the front and rear. Located amongst attractive countryside, The Slate House is a lovely property in a well-rounded area. Fuel, power and starter pack for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 4 cars. Lawned garden to the front and rear. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 3 miles. Note: There is a private spring water supply for this property.

The lively coastal town of Cahersiveen, birthplace of Daniel O'Connell, is ideally situated aside the River Fertha, at the foot of the Beentee Mountain, in beautiful County Kerry. Renowned in the 1800s for the salting of Atlantic fish, today the town retains strong links with the ocean, boasting an excellent harbour and a superb marina offering sailing, trout and salmon fishing and deep-sea angling opportunities.
