This outstanding cottage is near to the town of Bowness-on-Windermere in Cumbria and can sleep ten people in five bedrooms. Five bedrooms: 1 x ground floor king-size double (zip/link, can be 2'6" twin on request) with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 2 x king-size double (zip/link, can be twin on request), 2 x king-size double with en-suite shower, basin and WC. Bathroom with P shaped bath, shower over, basin and WC. Ground floor basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Utility. Sitting room with woodburning stove.
Rowan is a lovely cottage situated in an elevated position within walking distance of Bowness-on-Windermere and benefits from six acres of woodland to walk in. The cottage is just a short distance from Windermere Golf Club and the Lake Ferry. The cottage can sleep ten people in five bedrooms, one king-size bedroom with en-suite, four double bedrooms, two with en-suite and a family bathroom. There is also a sitting room with woodburning stove, a well-equipped kitchen with open plan dining room and a utility area. Outside there is a decked area, and hot tub. There is off road parking for two cars. Rowan is a cottage perfect for a much sought after Lakeland break with family and friends. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere hold enduring appeal for visitors to the Lake District National Park, with each providing a range of nearby attractions, amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes.
