This village rests in the Eifonydd region, which covers the south-eastern part of the Llyn Peninsula from Porthmadog to the eastern fringes of Pwllheli. As well as its countryside, the village is noted for its holy well, Ffynnon Gybi, a lovely part of local myth and tradition. The market town of Pwllheli offers a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, along with a marina holding 400 boats. For walking and sightseeing, Snowdonia offers a plethora of outdoor activities and notable sites worth a visit.
