Luddenden is a village in Calderdale, offering a shop and great access to West Yorkshire. Nearby, Hebden Bridge has the Rochdale Canal and a Victorian railway station. Mytholmroyd is an easy drive away, the birthplace of Poet Laureate Ted Hughes, and hosting Cragg Vale Coiners. There is walking country with the National Trust Hardcastle Crags and the Pennine Way, plus the area hosted the Tour De France in 2014.
