Deal is an historic, coastal town boasting two castles, both open to the public, two small museums, and markets held weekly. The town offers restaurants, but if fish is your desire then why not catch your own by enjoying a spot of fishing from the beach or pier? Deal Castle is an ideal place for children to explore, Walmer Castle, which became the home of The Duke of Wellington, and was the late Queen Mother's favourite, is just along the coast with gardens.
