Tenter Cottage is a charming semi-detached cottage in the centre of the town of Wooler in Northumberland. To the outside is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed lawned garden with patio and furniture. Set in a stunning location, Tenter Cottage is a wonderful place for a great relaxing break.

Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. Note: Few steps into the cottage and one step entering the master bedroom. Note: Care to be taken as steps from the French doors to the garden.

Wooler is a delightful market town on the banks of the River Till, nestling in the foothills of the Cheviots which form part of the Pennine Way. Known locally as 'The Gateway to The Cheviots', Wooler has a selection of hotels and eating places and offers a magnificent location for exploring the whole of Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Situated on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, Wooler is just a short drive away from the historic town of Alnwick with its famous Castle and Gardens.

"Absolutely filthy. Black mould in all bathrooms and in twin bedroom. Kitchen and shelves grimy, shower in twin bedroom didn't work. Small refund and late checkout offered in return for 7 hours cleaning. It was Christmas so suitable alternatives were not available for a move."

"A superb cottage beautifully furnished spotlessly clean well equipped .A particularly nice welcome pack. Very friendly village, plenty of eating houses and pubs about 200 yards from the cottage, a local Co-op store is open from 7am seven days a week. We could not have been more satisfied."
