The vibrant seaside town of Scarborough holds many of its original buildings, parks and gardens, as well as its historic castle overlooking the town. North Bay and South Bay boast two stretches of sandy beaches, and there are a range of child friendly activities for you to explore. Other places of interest include; the Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough Spa and Scarborough Open Air Theatre for live music.

"This place is a hidden little gem in Scarborough absolutely loved it decor and furnishings beautifully match, bath with shower and a ensuite shower in another room so no waiting away with others the kitchen has everything you need to cook even has a tasimo machine which is a nice little touch a lovely short walk down to the Italian gardens leading down to south parade has internet and sky tv had a lovely time already booked to come back September to bring parents and sister thank you for a wonderful stay "
"Stayed here with friends and an excitable dog, who loved the proximity to the gardens and the beach (10 minutes straight down). Close enough to town to walk but with easy access to the major roads. The flat itself is well appointed, lovely beds (esp the main bedroom). Kitchen has everything you need to cook in or bring food back to. Tastefully decorated with all new mod cons. I will definitely be back"
"Me and my family stayed here for 1 week over Halloween period. What a hidden gem this place is. It's like a home from home very spacious and very modern towels are provided which is also rare. The beds were very comfortable the place is very warm and the utilities in the kitchen were amazing. Not many rentals have dishwasher tumble dryer and a large fridge freezer as well as the washing machine microwave cooker etc. What makes this place even better is that it allows pets. Convenient located 10 min walk from the grand hotel but the views walking there make it seem like 2 min. We will definitely stay here again. Dog walkers beware though your dog must be on a lead at all times or there is hearty fines in Scarborough but this is becoming more common everywhere. Even in my local park this law applies now. But over all I would definitely recommend rosies retreat. Thank you for a very comfortable stay. Paul."
