There is a fenced seating area outside as well as off-road parking, and the property benefits from shared use of the on-site indoor swimming pool. The Cowshed is a wonderful retreat for a couple looking to enjoy North Yorkshire. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Note: Swimming pool available from 10.30AM - 8PM, except on Saturdays when it opens 4PM - 8PM and it is shared with three other properties. Note: Check-in is from 4PM

The North Yorkshire market town of Malton has been an historic hub of activity since the time of the Romans, and is still a bustling hive today. Enjoying a great selection of amenities in the form of pubs, shops and even a weekly general market, as well as livestock and farmers' markets regularly taking place here too. Settle on the north side of the River Derwent, it lies just next door to the Howardian Hills AONB, and south of the North York Moors National Park, so is a perfect base for those looking to explore these wonderful landscapes.
