Overview
This cottage is in the village of Cartmel near to Grange-over-Sands and can sleep two people in one bedroom. One double bedroom. Shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with beautifully designed log burning stove, as well as underfloor heating.
The Snug is a lovely cottage situated in the village of Cartmel just two miles from Grange-over-Sands in the Lake District. The cottage can sleep two people in one double bedroom together with walk-in shower room. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with wood burning stove. There is roadside parking on a first come, first served basis. Outside is a patio with furniture. The Snug is an ideal base for exploring the Lake District. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Gas central heating with open fire, and underfloor heating in the living space downstairs. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, Alexa, washer/dryer, Nespresso machine, TV with Freeview, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Starter pack included for fire. Tea, 10 Nespresso pods and sugar provided. Fuel for fire can be purchased locally. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Roadside parking on a first come, first served basis. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk. Note: Open staircase and care should be taken.

The historic, South Lakeland village of Cartmel is renowned as the prettiest village in the Lake District. The Priory Church, one of the finest ecclesiastical buildings in the north of England, remains the heart of the community with its gatehouse forming the entrance to the village. The village features pretty streamside walks, quaint cobbled streets littered with antique shops, a charming gift shop, welcoming, traditional pubs serving real ale, the nationally acclaimed, Michelin Star awarded L'Enclume restaurant, and the Cartmel Village shop, which sells the famous sticky toffee pudding.
