This semi-detached barn conversion is one of two in the village of Beck Side, two miles from Cartmel, and sleeps two people in one bedroom. One super king-size double bedroom (zip/link, can be twin on request) with en-suite bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric stove.
Kestrel Cottage is a semi-detached barn conversion, one of two, in the village of Beck Side two miles from Cartmel. The cottage sleeps two people in one super king-size double, which can be arranged as a twin room on request, which has an en-suite bathroom. There is also an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with an electric stove. Outside is a shared terraced garden with patios and a lawned area and there is off road parking available. Kestrel Cottage is a fantastic choice for a romantic break at any time of the year. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Oil central heating with electric stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, 2 x TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 6 cars. Shared, terraced garden with lawned area and patio with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1.2 miles. Note: There are a number of steep stone steps in the garden, care to be taken and may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Note: Bedroom has open access to the stairs.

The historic, South Lakeland village of Cartmel is renowned as the prettiest village in the Lake District. The Priory Church, one of the finest ecclesiastical buildings in the north of England, remains the heart of the community with its gatehouse forming the entrance to the village. The village features pretty streamside walks, quaint cobbled streets littered with antique shops, a charming gift shop, welcoming, traditional pubs serving real ale, the nationally acclaimed, Michelin Star awarded L'Enclume restaurant, and the Cartmel Village shop, which sells the famous sticky toffee pudding.
