This lovely cottage is in Whicham near Broughton-in-Furness in Cumbria and can sleep four people in two bedrooms. Two bedrooms: 1 x king size double, 1 x twin (zip-link, can be king-size on request). Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Sitting room with woodburning stove.
Swallow Barn is a newly converted stone barn near Millom, situated in an idyllic rural location. There are two bedrooms, one king-size and one twin, and a family bathroom with shower over the bath. On the ground floor there is an open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area with underfloor heating and wood burning stove. Outside there is a walled stone patio and to the rear an unenclosed garden and off road parking for two cars. An ideal location for anyone who wants a peaceful base to explore the many attractions within the Lake District National Park. Swallow Barn sits in the shadow of Black Combe and is mentioned by Alfred Wainwright on two of his walks. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Oil central heating with underfloor heating on ground floor and woodburning stove. Gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, TV with FreeSat. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lawned garden with patio and furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Pub 3 miles and shop 5 miles. Note: There is restricted head height under the shower in the family bathroom. Linen and towels provided.

Broughton-in-Furness is situated in the south western corner of the Lake District and is just six miles from Coniston Water. The village provides an ideal base for a walking or climbing holiday, with ample opportunity to explore the rugged beauty of the Duddon Valley and the Lake District fells.
