The cottage can sleep four people in two bedrooms, which are made up of a king-size double with an en-suite shower room and a king-size double which is zip/link and can be twin on request, as well as a family bathroom. The rest of the cottage is made up of a kitchen with dining area, sitting room with open fire, ground floor cloakroom and a games room with table tennis. To the outside of the cottage is ample off road parking and an enclosed patio garden with furniture. Set in stunning countryside, Grove Cottage is a great place to enjoy a holiday at any time of the year.

Shop and pub with restaurant 1 min walk.

Allendale was once the centre of a busy lead mining area, and many relics of the mining era remain around the area. Allendale is ideally placed for access to Carlisle to the west, Hexham to the east or the Roman Wall just to the north. There are lots of walks and unspoilt villages in the surrounding North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is an ideal location for exploring the surrounding countryside or travelling further north to the glorious Heritage Coastline.

"By far the best cottage we have had the privilege to stay in Andrew and Sarah the owners are fantastic I hope they never change anything the Aga is amazing to cook on Beds are very comfortable there is everything you need to enjoy your stay we will definitely be returning for more visits The pubs in the village are very dog friendly and the locals make you feel welcome also"
