Regular boat trips leave from the harbours of Buckie and further along the coast to Macduff, which offer the chance to see bottlenose dolphins and an array of sea birds. From Buckie, stretching in both directions, the coastline is peppered with fishing villages and a handful of beaches. Pack a picnic, drive to the fabled Loch Ness and enjoy a stroll along its shoreline, or explore the historic city of Elgin, a short drive away.
