Situated between Ilkley and Skipton is the historic village of Addingham. The village is in the valley of the River Wharfe and is home to several good pubs that serve ales and food, a scattering of small shops and a golf course. Just three miles away is Bolton Abbey, which is one of the most wonderful and scenic areas in the region and a walk along the river to the 'Strid' is essential. Both close by is the Victorian Spa town of Ilkley and the town of Skipton, which are both well worth visiting.

"If I could sum up this lodge or the site in one word it would be "impressive". The cabins were fantastically positioned to see the River Wharf and be close to Addingham, but were secluded enough to be private from the locals and perfect to get some quiet from the main roads. The care package on arrival had all the basics and the guides included the rest you could want to know. We were well greeted by the team and left to enjoy the facilities which were unvelievable. The hot tub was well used and the sauna was equally a fab addition. The kitchen was fully equipped and the extras like the bluetooth speaker and smart tv meant entertaining was easy. A plus to the site is that is on the dales way and means its easily connected to Ilkley if you enjoy a walk. Otherwise plenty of other things to do. Or just enjoy the views with a drink in the tub. Pictures don't do it justice. Would recommend and will hopefully be back."
"Recently staff for 3 nights in Bears Den. The welcome was warm and we were shown around our lodge which was stunning. Two nice sized bedrooms with en-suite and a large living area. The cabin has ground source heating and was lovely and toasty. The hot tub is a great touch. This lodge I would say is the most private of the selection as it sits in the corner of the plot. The two dogs loved the walks around the area and the nearby village provided all we needed. Great stay, hopefully get to visit again soon. "
"Fantastic weekend stay. Lodge stunning and hot tub a really nice bonus. Great location for long walks along the river, ideal too with a dog. Handy also for shops and restaurants in Addingham. Hosts very welcoming and helpful. We will be back."
