Outside there is a lovely walled garden offering privacy and tranquillity. Old Leonard House is a a wonderful base to experience the many delights of County Mayo. The West of Ireland conjures up many images; thatched, whitewashed cottages, a flock of sheep on a narrow road, an emerald green field with a stone wall, or the Atlantic waves crashing into towering cliffs and rocky shores.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Enclosed lawned garden with furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome (older than 2 years). Sorry, no smoking. Roadside parking on a first come, first served basis. Pub, shop and restaurant 1 min walk.

Foxford is a delightful town situated on the River Moy in County Mayo. Foxford is well known as a tourist centre and has a variety of traditional pubs, restaurants and shops. Nestled between the Ox and Nephin Mountains, the town caters for a range of outdoor activities such as walking, mountain biking and fishing. The Foxford Way is an 86km long trail which takes in the Ox Mountains, archaeological sites, boglands and river banks. For fishing enthusiasts, the River Moy offers salmon fishing, whilst nearby Loughs Conn and Cullin provide opportunities for brown trout fishing.
