This delightful semi-detached cottage is situated in a peaceful setting with glorious views, in the small Teesdale village of Stainton, near Barnard Castle and can sleep six people in three bedrooms. . All ground floor. Three bedrooms: 1 x king-size double (zip/link, can be twin on request), 1 x double, 1 x single with pull-out stacker bed. Bathroom with freestanding bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with breakfast bar (seats 2) and dining area. Sitting room with gas woodburner-effect stove.
Overdale is a delightful semi-detached cottage situated in a peaceful setting with glorious views, in the small Teesdale village of Stainton, near Barnard Castle and can sleep six people in three bedrooms. The cosy sitting room has a gas woodburner-effect stove and the bright and modern kitchen includes a breakfast bar and dining table, and boasts beautiful panoramic views. There are three tastefully furnished bedrooms, as well as a contemporary stylish bathroom featuring a freestanding bath and large walk-in shower. Outside, there is a patio area, lawned gardens and off road parking for three cars. Overdale is set amongst lovely countryside and provides the perfect base for exploring all that this wonderful area has to offer. From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Stainton is a small rural village set in lovely countryside, in Teesdale, County Durham. This village is nothing more than a scattering of traditional cottages; for more amenities visitors to Snainton need venture no further than the market town of Barnard Castle, just a mile down the road. Barnard Castle has the ruins of its namesake castle still in situ by the river, and a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants set down the towns narrow cobbled streets and alleyways. Great walking, impressive waterfalls, flowing rivers and lovely Dales countryside is all around this charming village.

"We had a lovely stay at this delightful cottage . A real home from home . When we arrived the owners were there cutting the grass but told us to make ourselves at home . This cottage has stunning views very peaceful and tranquil. First time taking our 7 month old King Charles away but she absolutely loved the huge garden which is all enclosed . Loved watching the cows in the fields . Has some lovely walks round and about and barnard castle has Morrisons and heron shop and lots of other shops and pubs most of them being dog friendly. Throughly enjoyed or week in this neck of the woods"
