The Norfolk village of Buxton was the home of Anna Sewell, author of Black Beauty. This lovely quiet rural village adjoins the village of Lammas, separated only by the River Bure at Buxton Mill. Buxton village sits within the Broadlands area of Norfolk, just 6 miles from Wroxham the heart of the Norfolk Broads, where you can hire a river cruiser or board one of the larger passenger cruisers and explore the river.
