This wonderful, detached, stone-built barn conversion near Windermere can sleep six people in three bedrooms. Over three floors. Three bedrooms: 1 x four poster king-size double with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x lower ground floor double, 1 x lower ground floor twins. Lower ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen. Shared external utility. Sitting room with electric fire and dining area.
Owl Barn is a wonderful, detached, stone-built barn conversion cottage, situated amongst a group of four, close to Lake Windermere in the sleepy hamlet of Heaning. The cottage offers three bedrooms, including a first floor king-size double with an en-suite shower room, two lower ground floor rooms (one double and one twin), and a lower ground floor family bathroom. There is a well-equipped kitchen and a sitting room with an electric fire, and a dining area. Outside, there is off road parking for two cars, a shared lawned garden, and a private area with furniture. Owl Barn is the perfect base for exploring the Lake District with friends and family, all year round. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Off road parking for 2 cars. Front shared lawned garden with private seating area with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1.5 miles. Note: Due to rural location, WiFi can be intermittent.

Set within splendid scenery in the Lake District National Park, the twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are vibrant, bustling settlements, popular with both first-timers and visitors returning to the Lakes. They offer a range of amenities to suit all tastes, including a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. Boat rides can be taken between Bowness and the popular village of Ambleside, while nearby are Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top Farm' and the Lakeside Aquarium. Good walking, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' high-wire adventure can be found in nearby Grizedale Forest. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children can enjoy the 'World of Beatrix Potter'; in Bowness, where the latest technology brings the author's famous characters to life.
