Ground floor basin and WC. Kitchen with woodburning stove. Dining room. Sitting room with electric fire.
High House Cottage is a delightful cottage in the village of St Bees in Cumbria. The cottage can sleep seven people in four bedrooms, comprising a king-size double, two twin rooms (one zip/link) and a single. The cottage also contains a family bathroom and a ground floor cloakroom as well as a kitchen with woodburning stove, a dining room and a sitting room with gas woodburner-effect fire. To the outside of the cottage is roadside parking for two cars and an enclosed front courtyard garden with furniture. High House Cottage is set in stunning countryside and is an ideal cottage to enjoy at any time of the year. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Note: One side of the staircase is open plan. Note: There are two steps from the kitchen to the dining room and sitting room, and two steps down to bathroom from upstairs landing. Note: This is a pet friendly property from the 8th June 2018.

"Lovely holiday cottage in West Cumbria. Have stayed a few times now visiting family and great comfortable and well equipped cottage. Owners make a real effort to make sure guests have a great stay with welcome basket and address any problems immediately if they arise. St Bees is a great base to visit the Western lakeland which is much quieter than the Southern lakes, and much better!. Great beach and nice pubs and good food and refreshments at beach cafe."
