1 Primitive Croft is a lovely terraced cottage situated in the village of Chelmorton just four miles from Buxton in the Peak National Park. The cottage can sleep two people in one double bedroom with en-suite Jacuzzi together with a ground floor cloakroom. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and enclosed gardens with furniture and BBQ. 1 Primitive Croft is ideal for guests wishing to explore this lovely part of the country. The ultimate in "year-round" appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, 60" plasma screen TV with FreeSat, Blu-ray/DVD player, PlayStation 3, a selection of DVDs and WiFi. Fuel, power and a starter pack for woodburning stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Welcome pack inc. tea, coffee, sugar, bread, biscuits and beans. Off-road parking for two cars. Front graveled area and rear enclosed artificial turf lawn with patio, seating and barbecue. Shared use of a 3-acre grass paddock, dogs can run freely off the lead. One small well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking or vaping. Shop within 4.3 miles, pub within 0.3 miles. NOTE: No children under the age of 4 allowed at this cottage

The ancient, picturesque and peaceful village of Chelmorton is situated in the heart of the Peak National Park. The village boasts a lovely pub which serves excellent food. Chelmorton has a fascinating historic landscape of 'fossil' arable strips enclosed within drystone walls and the village has a lovely medieval church of St John the Baptist.

"When first arrived we were impressed especially with the great mood settings.However when looking at finer details it wasnt so good - the bath leaked every time we used it especially as it doesnt appear to have been sealed in and it looks like an ongoing problem from the water stains on the ceiling. It was also dusty and full of crumbs / dirt in places especially under the sofa and under the edge of the washing machine etc. The toilet seat was broken when first got there and we contacted the lady who came to 'fix it' but it was broken again after an hour making it unsafe to use at times we did recontact the lady but no answer!! Sadly we will not be staying here again."
"We have just returned from a week stay at this beautiful cottage. It was perfect for dog walks with many places of interest nearby and beautiful walks on your doorstep. The cottage is immaculate and well thought out with modern fixtures and fittings - a real home from home. This is our second year stopping at Primitive Croft and I know we'll be back again."
