This wonderful detached cottage is situated two miles from the village of Tomintoul and sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. .
Dalvrecht Manse is a superb detached character cottage situated two miles from the village of Tomintoul, near Grantown-On-Spey in the Cairngorms National Park. This cottage sleeps eight people in four bedrooms, consisting of two super king-size doubles, one king-size double and a child's bunk room, together with a bathroom and a shower room. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area, a dining room and two sitting rooms, one with a woodburner and one with an open fire. Outside there's ample off road parking, a front terrace and an enclosed lawned garden with patio and stone terrace. Dalvrecht Manse is a great family base.

Oil central heating with woodburning stove and open fire. Oil-fired AGA range cooker, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with basic Sky, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter packs for woodburning stove and open fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Ample off road parking. Front terrrace. Enclosed lawned garden with patio and stone terrace with furniture next to river. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 miles. Note: A river runs at the far end of the garden below the terrace, children must be supervised at all times. Note: Upper children's bunk bed is only suitable for children between 6 - 12 and both bunk beds have a height restriction of 5'3. Note: Max 6 adults and 2 children.

Tomintoul is an attractive village situated on the northern slopes of the Cairngorms National Park, and at 1160ft, it has the title of the Highest Village in the Highlands. Tomintoul has shops and a pub, and is situated on the main road between Royal Deeside and the Highlands, making it an excellent base for exploring all that the region has to offer.

"My family and I had a fantastic week at Dalvrecht. The hosts have thought of everything and the house is very well equipped and luxurious. It is very spacious and we really enjoyed cosy nights in front of the fire and sitting in the back garden for breakfast. It is in a beautiful location which is perfect for a peaceful holiday but you can easily access all that the Cairngorms has to offer. We would love to visit again and highly recommend it."
"We stopped here in January 2017 and there were 7 of us in total. The house is stunning and so cosey, all the rooms are done out to high standard and it feels like a home from home. Has everything you need including a boot room for shoes and wellies. The surrounding views are beautiful and the river at the bottom of the extremely large garden is theraputic and relaxing. we really enjoyed out stay here and cant wait to go back again in the near future."

"Stayed here with seven of us. Beautiful house in quiet, remote location in Glenlivet. The house is immaculate and very cosy. We made use of the Glenlivet bike trail and cafe, and had walks on speyside way. We were lucky enough to have warm sunny weather so coffee and breakfast outside in the company of pheasants and oystercatchers."
