A welcoming apartment on the outskirts of Ambleside, sleeping four people in two bedrooms. Two bedrooms: 1 x double with basin, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen. Sitting room with dining area.

Electric central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, shared use of laundry, TV with Sky, DVD, WiFi. Electricity charged by meter reading at end of stay. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 1 car. Outdoor furniture. Use of shared courtyard with BBQ. Use of small indoor heated pool, whirlpool and sauna (local charges apply for sauna). Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 1 mile, pub 1 min walk, Lake Windermere 1 min walk. ***Note: You will be allocated one apartment on arrival at the site and this may be a ground floor or a first floor apartment.***

Given its excellent position at the northern tip of Lake Windermere - England's largest lake - Ambleside makes a superb base for touring the central Lakes. The town itself is famous for its annual rushbearing ceremony and the diminutive 17th Century Bridge House - one of the most photographed buildings in the Lake District.
