Overview
This former forge is attached to the owner's home in the heart of the village of Catwick and sleeps four people in two bedrooms. Two bedrooms with TV: 1 x ground floor super king-size double (zip/link, can be twin on request), 1 x twin. Ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. Shower room with shower, basin and WC. First floor open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove.
The Thankful Forge is a former forge, attached to the owner's home in the heart of the village of Catwick. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms which are a ground floor super king-size double(zip/link, can be a twin on request) and a first floor twin room. There are also two shower rooms, one on the ground floor and one on the first, and a first floor open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside there is off road parking for 2 cars and a lawned garden with a patio and furniture. The Thankful Forge is a lovely cottage in a fantastic location, guaranteed to offer something for everyone. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Electric central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with icebox, washing machine in ground floor shower room, dishwasher, 3 x TVs with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Initial fuel, power and fuel for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lawned garden with patio, furniture and BBQ. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 11 mins walk, pub 1 mile. Note: There is a fenced pond at the bottom of the garden, young children should be supervised. Note: Sloping ceilings on first floor. Note: This property does not accept worker bookings.

"This pretty cottage is welcoming, comfy, a beautiful home from home and eco friendly to boot. The owners have ensured you have everything you could possibly want in this tastefully decorated cottage. From the dishwasher, washing machine, smoothie maker, microwave and coffee machine with milk frother (please, don't go there! LOL!!) to name some of the larger equipment. To a corkscrew, salt, herbs sugar, dishwasher tablets, bleach, hand wash, dish cloth and loo rolls at the other end of the scale. There are CD's, books, games, magazines and very nice wine glasses. You can either cuddle up in front of the wood burning fire or sit out in the beautiful garden (weather permitting - we were lucky) and enjoy using them...... the games that is!!! .......or the books!! The owners are delightful and a minefield of information about places to visit that aren't in the Guidebook. The cottage is ideally situated between Hornsea - 9mins and Beverley - 8mins, not forgetting that Hull, Brid, York, Whitby and Scarborough are only a short car ride away. To finish, we had a great time and stayed in a "BEAUTIFUL DOG FRIENDLY HOME FROM HOME, TWIXT HORNSEA & BEVERLEY and we are most 'THANKFUL' we found this little gem!
