A Canadian lodge located near North Kessock in the Scottish Highlands that can sleep four people in two bedrooms. All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x king-size double with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x twin zip/link (can be king-size on request). Bathroom with shower over bath, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove.
Heron Lodge is a detached lodge located near North Kessock in the Scottish Highlands. It has two bedrooms comprising of a king size with an en-suite a twin room with zip link beds, there is also a family bathroom, the property can sleep four people. Also inside there is an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. To the outside there is a veranda with furniture, a barbecue and a hot tub. Heron Lodge is a high quality lodge in a great spot for a peaceful break in Scotland. From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

The village has a line of buildings along the shore, with a hillside behind them. The rest of Kessock is scattered over the hillside and through the woods. Beauly Firth is teeming with wildlife. Dolphins, Redshank, Oystercatcher, Ringed Plover, Dunlin, Curlew and Shelduck and the Common Seal can be seen. In North Kessock, a small marine Wildlife Research Base monitors dolphins and seals through sightings as well as underwater microphones. Pop in and have a listen!

"What a fantastic place to stay. Great location to explore the region and beyond. We visited Culloden, Fort Agustus, Cromarty and Inverness to name just s few of the many attractions. One thing I noted was the lack of the dreaded midges, maybe the smoke from the log burning stoves dissuaded the little monsters! This was our second visit to these cabins and, though we have visited Scotland several times, this is the first time we have returned to the same cottage with one of our returning party saying it was "like coming home" and I think that says everything about these lodges. The owners are very friendly and willing to help or resolve any issues without being intrusive. Oh, and soaking in the hot tub after a days holidaying watching and listening to the wildlife is blissful! We will be back!"
