It offers open plan studio accommodation, sleeping two people in one pull-down double bed. There is also a kitchen, a dining area, a sitting area and a bathroom. Outside there is off road parking and all the amenities Bowness-on-Windermere has to offer within walking distance, including Lake Windermere just five minutes away. Wetherlam is a delightful base for a Lake District holiday to remember. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 1 car. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pubs 2 mins walk. Lake Windermere 5 mins walk. Note: The property is in an elevated location. Note: Check-in time 4pm.

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere both provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants, plus boat trips are available from Bowness to Ambleside, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Orrest Head, where Alfred Wainwright was inspired to write his series of iconic guidebooks, is on the edge of the town, plus Grizedale Forest Park is nearby and there are many National Trust properties in the area.

"I stayed here over Christmas week. I have stayed here before and I will again. Total luxury it is not but basic and clean it is. The kitchen is well equipped the bed comfy and the bath huge! I can recommend this apartment if you want to be close to the town and lake. Getting to the car park might be a problem for big cars but you can park on the street if you ask the owner for a permit. A lovely place to stay and unlike a lot of places in Windermere not stupidly expensive. "
