This semi-detached cottage is close to the village of Coniston near to Hawkshead and can sleep two people in one bedroom. Mostly ground floor. One super king-size double bedroom. Bathroom with Jacuzzi bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen with breakfast bar. First floor sitting room with dining area and woodburner.
Gable End is a semi-detached cottage situated close to the village of Coniston just four miles from Hawkshead in the Lake District National Park. The cottage can sleep two people in one super king-size bedroom as well as a family bathroom with Jacuzzi. Also in the cottage is a kitchen with breakfast bar and a first floor sitting room with woodburner and dining area. Outside is off road parking for one car and a private lawned garden with furniture. Gable End is a delightful cottage from which to explore this fabulous part of the world. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Coniston Water, one of the most imposing and beautiful English Lakes, is situated to the west of Lake Windermere. To the northern end of the lake, the pretty village of Coniston is surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in the Lake District National Park and makes a superb base for touring Hawkshead, Ambleside and Windermere.
