Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Enclosed lawned garden with patio and furniture and gated access to river. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1.5 miles. Note: Low beams and limited headroom to first and second floor. Note: Children aged 8 years or over, due to steep staircase and river location. Winners of Channel 4's competition Four in a Bed December 2016!

The rural hamlet of Stockton is situated close to Offa's Dyke on the Wales/Shropshire border approximately 1.5 miles from the village of Marton and six miles from Welshpool, and has a smattering of pretty cottages and farms. Situated in the Vale of Montgomery it is surrounded by unspoilt countryside.

"I recently much enjoyed a week's self-catering with a dear friend at the most charming and wonderfully restored Old Mill Cottage at Marton, Nr Welshpool. Everything about this cottage, its delightful private garden and the general area was just perfect. All the "extra little touches here and there" were appreciated. What more can be said I wonder, it was just so good leaving both of us with exceptional memories of a great week. Thank you so much Caroline and Stephen for making us more than welcome!"
