Overview
This end-terrace barn conversion is a ten minute walk from the centre of Whitby and sleeps six people in three bedrooms. Three bedrooms: 1 x ground floor king-size double with en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, 1 x king-size double with en-suite bath, shower over, basin and WC, 1 x twin with en-suite bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner.
Magpie is an end-terrace barn conversion, a ten minute walk from the centre of Whitby. The cottage sleeps six people in three bedrooms which are a ground floor king-size double with an en-suite shower room, a king-size double with an en-suite bathroom and a twin room with an en-suite bathroom. Completing the accommodation is an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with a cosy woodburner. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a lawned garden with a patio, furniture and a barbecue. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Gas central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing/dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburning stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Bike storage. Lawned garden and patio with furniture and BBQ. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 10 mins walk. Note: Cottage next to secondary school and small caravan park, some traffic noise can be heard at approx. 8.45am and 3.40pm during the week.

The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire, with its superb coastline and close proximity to the spectacular North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.
