To the outside there is ample off road parking, a lawn and a decking with a table and chairs. Thorntree Lodge is a charming log cabin in a beautiful location.

Rowsley is situated south of Chatsworth House and a stones' throw from Haddon Hall. Rowsley offers shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants and in neighbouring Reedsmere is the Michelin-starred East Lodge Hotel and Restaurant. Close by is Bakewell, capital of the Peak District, and home of the Bakewell pudding which is still made locally to an old and secret recipe. This town is at the heart of the Peak District, and further attractions in the area include Gulliver's Kingdom, the shops and eateries of Matlock Bath, and within easy touring distance, Alton Towers making the location ideal for the whole family to enjoy.
